You’ve got Windows 10 and two sweet monitors, but seeing the same picture on both screens is giving you a déjà vu headache. FORTUNATELY, this can be easily remedied.

  1. Put both images that you want to use in the same folder
  2. Select both images that you want to use for the background
  3. Right-click one of the images and click Set as desktop background

That’s it!

There are a few of things worth mentioning:

  • Images will automatically shuffle every 30 minutes by default
  • The same image will occasionally appear on both screens at the same time
  • There is no way (that I’m aware of) to prevent the image from shuffling

If you want to change the interval at which the image shuffles, do the following:

  • Go to Background settings using any of these methods:
    • Type “background settings” on the Start Menu
    • Navigate to Windows Settings > Personalization > Background
    • Right-click the desktop and click Personalize (the background options should open by default)
  • Change the option for “Change picture every” to your desired interval

As mentioned previously, there isn’t an option to disable shuffling. Sad!
